ENERGIZING MUSIC PROGRAMS
at MERRILL F. WEST HIGH SCHOOL

Our Mission

About Us

The West High Music Boosters is a dedicated parent volunteer organization committed to supporting the students, Wolfpack Music, and music directors at Merrill F West High School. Our mission is to provide essential operational logistics, fundraising, and hands-on support to help elevate the West High Music program to its highest potential.

What We Do

  • Wolfpack Music’s Number One Fans: We cheer on our talented musicians and celebrate their achievements.

  • Support Directors and Students: We assist music directors and students in all facets of the program, ensuring their needs are met.

  • Chaperone Trips: Our volunteers accompany students on trips and competitions, ensuring safety and organization.

  • Fundraising: We organize and run fundraising events to provide resources for the music program.

  • Purchase / Repair Equipment: We help purchase, maintain, and repair musical instruments and equipment.

  • Drive Trucks and Carpool: Volunteers provide transportation for events and competitions, making logistics seamless.

  • Prepare Food on Competition Days: We prepare and serve meals to keep students energized for their performances.

  • Maintain Uniforms: We handle fitting, altering, hemming, and repairing uniforms so students look their best.

  • Trip Coordination: We organize travel arrangements for competitions and other events.

  • Organize Events: From performances to fundraisers, we plan and execute events that support the music community.

Get Involved

We encourage all parents to join us at our monthly Music Booster Meetings. Each meeting features updates from our directors, discussions about how funds are being allocated, plans for upcoming fundraisers, opportunities for parents to get involved, information on potential trips, and more. Please check our newsletter for the schedule of Music Booster meetings.

Your involvement makes a difference. Whether you volunteer your time, attend meetings, or participate in fundraisers, you help create an environment where our musicians can thrive. Together, we make West High Music one of the top programs in the region.
